Excellent reputation confirmed

Research & Results 2017, which took place on 25 and 26 October at the Munich conference center "MOC" with 179 exhibitors from 25 countries, is over. The market research show's concept proved itself impressively once again. Alongside the big names in the industry the likes of GfK, GIM, Nielsen, Ipsos and Kantar TNS, many smaller market-research specialists were again among the exhibitors this year, as is traditional for Research and Results.

The upward trend that the market research show Research & Results has shown for many years was set forth in 2017: With about 3,300 participants from more than 45 countries, this international get-together of the market research industry continues to resonate with visitors and exhibitors. "The show again upheld the quality and quantity of its participants; something that is (…) anything but a given," says Joachim Scholz, head of Corporate Communication at infas. And the visitors also once again gave the show top marks, with 90% (highly) satisfied according to the visitor survey conducted by Gess and Infas 360.

This year, visitors were very impressed by the proven blend of show and knowledge transfer, with 104 workshops where they could get informed about intriguing studies, new tools and trending topics such as virtual reality and voice control. The topic of innovation also found an appropriate setting at this year's Research & Results. In the "Innovation Area" in Hall 2, which premiered this year at the show, visitors could find out about the latest developments in the industry in quick-fire presentations ‒ for example about what role AI will play in the future of market research.

Research & Results 2018 will take place at the end of October next year, on the 24th and 25th, in the "MOC München" exhibition center.
